A Non-Fixed-Term Associate Professor or Professor position (ICT (Information Communication Technology) )

The successful candidate will teach courses in the field listed above and will be responsible for administrative duties of the College and the University related to education, research, recruitment, admissions, social contribution as well as partnership with high schools. Assigned courses will be determined based on a candidate’s area of expertise.

Description
Applicants who meet all of the following conditions from (1) to (6) and can work from the starting date above.
（1）Those whose main research interest is in ICT (or other relevant academic fields).
（2）Those who have obtained a doctoral degree in the field of research being sought, or those who have academic knowledge and research achievements equivalent to such a doctoral degree.
（3）Those who understand the teaching and learning policies of the University and are able to engage in education and research in the College, in cooperation with other faculty members.
（4）Those who are eager to work on tasks related to the overall management of the University, social contributions, cooperation with other organizations at home and abroad, and other works involving external parties.
（5）Those who have a sufficient command of English to conduct classes and provide guidance to students. Experience teaching in English to students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds is desirable.
（6）Those who possess Japanese language skills sufficient for daily operations. Japanese proficiency sufficient for university administrative duties is desirable.

(2) Second round screening: an interview and mock lecture (Only those who pass the first round of screening will be notified.)
Applicants with teaching experience on classes relating to assigned courses at GLA may be exempted from the mock lecture and required to attend only an interview at the second round screening process.
