We do not collect personal data from visitors, set no cookies, and run no analytics or advertising trackers.

Visitors

You can browse, search, filter and use the map without an account. The only cookie this site sets is a session cookie for the administrator signing in to the management panel.

Submitted positions

If you submit a position through the form, we store only what you type about the position itself. The contact address you provide is published with the listing, since applicants need it — use an institutional or role address rather than a private one. To limit automated abuse, the form briefly keeps a one-way hash of the connection address in memory; it is never written to disk and is discarded within an hour.

Applying for a position

Applying takes you to the institution's own page or e-mail address, where their privacy policy applies rather than ours. No part of your application reaches us.

Third-party requests

The map page loads its tiles from OpenStreetMap, so their servers can see your IP address when you open it. That is the only third-party request the site makes; styles, scripts and fonts all come from our own server. The share buttons on a listing are ordinary links, not embedded widgets — nothing is requested from a social network unless you click one.

What we count

We keep a tally of how many times a listing has been opened and how many times an application link has been followed. Nothing in it identifies you: no cookie, no stored IP address, no browser fingerprint. Since visitors are not distinguished, these are counts of visits rather than of people — a reload counts again. The figures are for our own editorial use and are not shown on the site.

Server logs

The web server keeps standard access logs for security and troubleshooting. These are rotated regularly and are not used to build visitor profiles.
