Shinshu University invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in physics at Institute of Science, Academic Assembly. Department in charge: Physics Course, Department of Science, Faculty of Science, Shinshu University. Research field: Experimental research in fields related to cosmic ray physics or high energy physics
Work content and job description
(1) Publish research results in major journals of the discipline, and conduct other activities appropriate to the discipline.
(2) Teach in physics classes at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
(3) Supervise undergraduate, M.S., and Ph.D. students.
(4) Administrative and service works for the Course, Faculty, and University.
*Faculties are expected to play active roles in obtaining external funds, communal activity, and international research activity.

Applicants must have excellent research achievements in the field described above.
Strong motivation for education, research and other works related to the management of the Faculty of Science.
Description
Excellent oral and written Japanese language are required for teaching undergraduate students and research activities.
