Background of the recruitment and description of the project This is the application guidelines of One Assistant Professor in Laboratory of Microbiology, Department of Biotechnology Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo Work content and job description 1) Research on filamentous fungi and education in microbiology in the field of Agricultural Chemistry 2) Teaching responsibilities: (Undergraduate School) Experiments in Biological Chemistry and Biotechnology, Exercise in Biological Chemistry and Biotechnology (Graduate School) Fermentation Microbiology; Fermentation Brewing; Selected Experiments (I, II, III) in Biotechnology; Seminar in Biotechnology; Special Seminar in Biotechnology Scope of change: The faculty member may be reassigned, concurrently assigned, or transferred to another position. (In principle, such an order will not be issued against his/her will. For details, please refer to Article 4 of the Regulations Concerning the Employment of University of Tokyo Faculty Members. Description 2) The candidate should have an excellent research record and be capable of developing new research areas based on microbiology focusing on filamentous fungi through diverse approaches, including cell biology, molecular biology, genome science, bioinformatics, and data science. 3) The candidate should be able to teach the courses listed in Section 7 above and be highly motivated to work collaboratively with faculty members and students in research, education, and student supervision.
