ARTH 209 - Introduction to Ancient Art and Architecture (3 credits - CRN 1137) Salary: $11,824 Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs): - Previous scholarly training or research experience in ancient Art History. - Some teaching experience in Art History is an asset. Schedule: - January 5th to April 14th, 2027 - Wednesdays & Fridays from 4:05 p.m.–5:25 p.m. Course description: Survey of ancient art and architecture: pre-historic Europe, ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Horaire : - 5 janvier au 14 avril 2027 - Mercredis et vendredis de 16 h 05 à 17 h 25 Description du cours: Étude de l’art et de l’architecture de l’Antiquité : l’Europe préhistorique, l’Égypte ancienne, la Grèce et Rome. L’accent est mis sur les questions liées au pouvoir politique, au genre, à la sexualité, à la race, à la formation des identités individuelles et collectives, ainsi qu’aux relations entre le corps et l’espace social.
