About the position
The School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) at UC San Diego invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the fields of Economics, with a focus on Chinese economy. The school seeks an outstanding scholar doing research on issues related to China and the global economy. Faculty are expected to produce original research and publish in highly ranked academic journals, to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, to supervise and mentor graduate students, and to engage in select service activities.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application) For those applying at the Assistant Professor level: Must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) OR be advanced to candidacy (ABD status) in Economics, Business, or Management, or a closely related field with a concentration in Economics. For those applying at the Associate and Full Professor level: Must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) in Economics, Business, Management, or a closely related field with a concentration in Economics. Additional qualifications (required at time of start) Must hold a Ph.D. in Economics, Business, Management, or a related field by the start date of appointment.
