About the position
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence among its faculty, staff, and student body. We are currently seeking physicians in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc), Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Complex Family Planning (FP), Hospitalist, and General Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn). The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and teaching, providing clinical care, and/or conducting research. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities, and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, a PhD, or an MD/PhD in areas of reproductive medicine or a health related field. Candidates with an MD or equivalent degree must be board eligible or board certified in areas of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences. Candidates with an MD or equivalent degree must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
