About the position
Faculty Positions in the Division of Allergy and Immunology : The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting clinical faculty. The selected candidates will be responsible for participating in scholarly activity and teaching medical and graduate students. The selected candidates will also be responsible for providing service to the University and academic community at a level commensurate with their career stage and contributing to the maintenance of a collegial and collaborative academic environment. The selected candidates will be expected to maintain professional competence by attending weekly outpatient adult clinics and participating in inpatient/outpatient consult services. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience. Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Rheumatology. Candidates must have, or be eligible for, a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
