The LSU School of Architecture seeks applicants for a full-time, nine-month, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with expertise in advanced architectural design. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of design practice, teaching, and/or research in building and architectural design. The candidate is expected to teach graduate and undergraduate design studios and lecture/seminar courses in their area of expertise. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues within LSU in general and the College of Art and Design in particular through research, teaching, program development, and governance.

The LSU School of Architecture offers two NAAB accredited degrees, B Arch and M Arch, as well as a graduate research degree in Architecture, MS in Arch. Architecture faculty also participate in interdisciplinary college wide degrees: Doctor of Design in Cultural Preservation and the BA in Art and Design. The College of Art & Design is a vibrant interdisciplinary unit composed of schools of Art, Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape Architecture. The LSU Coastal Ecosystem Design Studio (CEDS) and the Fabrication Lab add a growing multidisciplinary dimension to our degree programs.
