About the position
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions in quantum science, broadly defined.
- For the experimental chemistry position, areas of interest include, but are not limited to the preparation, control, and measurement of quantum states in molecular and materials systems; the synthesis and chemistry of molecules and materials for quantum science; quantum sensing and quantum-enhanced spectroscopy and coherent dynamics; and interfaces between quantum science and other areas of experimental chemistry.
- For the theoretical and computational chemistry position, areas of particular interest include quantum molecular science (electronic structure theory, molecular modeling, and quantum dynamics) and the application of machine learning to theoretical chemistry.
