bridges scientific rigor with community impact.
The Psychology Department consists of 48 faculty members in three
doctoral programs (Behavioral Neuroscience, Clinical Science, and
Cognitive and Brain Sciences), as well as eight teaching faculty
offering additional expertise in developmental, school, forensic,

informed by varied life experiences. We therefore welcome
applicants with non-traditional career trajectories or significant
professional experience outside of academia. The Department prizes
collegiality at all ranks, is family-friendly, and there is a
pre-school on campus. Additional information about the Department
is available at https://www.binghamton.edu/psychology/.
