We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Assistant in Sexual Health and HIV to join our team. The postholder will work with the clinical research team in the Centre, comprised of principal investigators, study coordinators, research nurses and clinical fellows, and with NHS partners. About the role As part of their role, and subject to appropriate training, they will undertake clinical procedures including, but not limited to, phlebotomy, FibroScan liver tests, point-of-care tests for STIs and psychological assessments. These may be carried out as part of research protocols as well as the provision of individual patient care. This post would be ideally suited to an individual with experience of working in a healthcare setting and/or experience of clinical research. They should be committed to working with patients and research participants and enthusiastic about clinical research in infectious diseases and sexual health. About you The successful candidate must have: - Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting or conducting health-related research - Educated to degree level or equivalent experience - Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of clinical research, regulatory processes, and clinical trial management For further information about this role please visit UCL Careers website.
