Computational Biologist (Proteomics)

In this role, you will
Collaborate with FMI scientists to interpret, communicate, and publish results.
Work closely with the Mass Spectrometry Facility on advanced data analysis.
Analyze proteomics and other high-throughput omics datasets and develop new analytical approaches when needed.
Advise scientists on experimental design and data analysis strategies.
Teach and mentor scientists in computational biology and proteomics.
About you
You hold a PhD degree or can demonstrate equivalent experience in computational biology, physics, mathematics, biology or related fields, with formal training in statistics and multivariate data analysis.
You have strong programming skills, including knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and signal processing.
You have extensive experience analyzing and interpreting mass spectrometry data using state-of-the-art tools, and you are interested in integrating it with other data modalities, such as RNA-seq or ATAC-seq data.
You enjoy collaborative projects, communicate results effectively, and work well with experimental biologists.
You can work independently and are open to acquiring new skills relevant to your role.
