## Associate Professor in International Economics Join us in advancing research and education in economics and business! ## Competence All qualifications below are required for the position, unless it is specified that they are considered an advantage. Required qualifications The applicant must have: - A PhD in economics or a closely related field relevant to international and/or development economics, or equivalent competence documented through academic work of the same scope and quality. - Documented research competence and publication record within international economics or related fields relevant to the position. - Educational competence in accordance with NMBU’s requirements for associate professors. Any missing educational competence must be acquired within two years of appointment. - Good oral and written communication skills in English. Qualifications considered an advantage - Experience with applied research, policy analysis and interdisciplinary research, as well as externally funded research projects or research collaboration. - Experience with course and programme development, student-active learning and teaching in international and interdisciplinary study programmes. - Experience with dissemination, collaboration with public authorities, research institutions, business or other external stakeholders. - Experience with academic administration or institutional development. - Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language. Applicants who do not have Norwegian or another Scandinavian language competence at the time of employment will be required to obtain Norwegian language skills at B2 level within three years.
