About the position
The Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Tsukuba invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in fields related to Arabic language education, including history, intellectual history and philosophy, and linguistics. Work content and job description
(1) Teaching Common Foundation Subjects in Arabic language education (including Basic Arabic, and Applied Arabic and Reading) and other related courses at the Center for Education of Global Communication (CEGLOC).
(2) Teaching Specialized Subjects at the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
(3) Teaching Specialized Subjects at the College of Japanese Language and Culture.
(4) Performing administrative duties for the above organizations, the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the University.
Work experience
Applicants must have sufficient Japanese language proficiency to perform their duties in Japanese without difficulty.

Selection
After document screening, qualified applicants will be invited to have an interview in Japanese and to make a model lesson on the Tsukuba Campus at the University of Tsukuba. Transportation expenses for the interview will not be reimbursed. There is also the possibility that interviews will be held online. (Interviews for applicants abroad will be held online.)
Notification of result
Final results will be sent via e-mail after the final decision has been made.
