About the position
Background of the recruitment and description of the project Ehime University invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term Assistant Professor whose main duties include teaching general education courses (including English and other foundational and liberal arts subjects) primarily for first-year students, as well as conducting research in the fields of teaching and learning. Work content and job description (1)Main Tasks (Education) ・To teach six 90-minute classes per week in the General Education program, including foundation and liberal arts courses such as English and First-Year Seminars. ・To teach eight 90-minute intensive classes in the General Education program, including English, foundation, and liberal arts courses, during the summer vacation period. ・To teach eight 90-minute intensive classes in the General Education program, including pre-enrollment English classes, foundation, and liberal arts courses, during the spring vacation period. (2) Other Tasks ・Conduct research in the field of teaching and learning, including applying for various research grants. ・Perform duties for the General Education Unit of the Education and Student Support Organization. ・Attend various meetings related to assigned duties.
