Work content and job description - Conduct leading and internationally recognized research in the field of specialization. - Teach undergraduate courses and graduate courses in both Japanese and English (Undergraduate courses include Calculus, Set Theory and General Topology, Differential Equations, Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis, Vector Calculus, Lebesgue Integration, Discrete Mathematics, etc.). - Supervise graduate and undergraduate students. - Contribute to the administration of the School of Computing and the university. - The successful candidate will engage in activities within one of the eight Visionary Initiatives (VIs), which serve as interdisciplinary research hubs. Research statement with a summary of research accomplishments and details of the future direction and plan for the applicant’s work (no set format, about two A4 pages) 6. Teaching statement that provides a summary of accomplishments and discusses teaching and learning plans (no set format, about one A4 page) 7. Community engagement record, including that as a member of international and academic committees 8. Names, affiliations, and contact information of referees (two from institutions in the applicant’s country and two from overseas institutions in relevant fields). 9. Excel file with specified information (the attached Achievement-Summary.xlsx) Additional information may be requested if necessary. Please combine the PDFs from items 1–8 and the Excel file in item 9 into a ZIP file, then upload it. Selection Selection will be based on a comprehensive review of applications and interviews. Selected applicants may be asked to have an on-campus interview and/or give a presentation. Please note that travel expenses for attending in-person interviews will not be reimbursed.
