About the position
The Public Health Research Center (PHRC) at NYU Abu Dhabi is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate in Population Genomics to join the UAE Healthy Future Study; a cohort of 15,000 Emirati nationals investigating the genetic, environmental, and lifestyle determinants of complex disease.
The successful candidate will lead and contribute to large-scale population genomic analyses, with a focus on whole-genome sequencing, multi-omics data, and the genetic architecture of complex traits. PHRC offers a multidisciplinary research environment with access to rich genomic, clinical, and lifestyle phenotype data, alongside high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure.
Qualifications
- PhD in human genetics, genetic epidemiology, biostatistics, computational biology, or a related field
- Candidates must still be within the first 5 years post receipt of their PhD.
- Strong publication record.
- Experience analyzing large-scale genomic datasets in HPC environments
