About the position
Postdoc In Ai Agents For Life Science
The AICell Lab in the department of Applied Physics at KTH and Science for Life Laboratory is a research group funded by the Data-driven Life Science Fellows program. The group, led by Wei Ouyang, focuses on building AI systems for data-driven cell and molecular biology.
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary team and develop innovative AI systems for scientific research and collaboration. The project contributes to a European Union-supported initiative to facilitate access to research infrastructures, particularly within the Euro-BioImaging network, while exploring broader applications of AI agents, collaborative AI systems, and AI-driven scientific discovery in life sciences.
You will contribute to the development and evaluation of AI-powered research assistants and multi-agent systems that support scientific workflows, connect researchers with expertise and infrastructure, and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration. The role combines independent research with project coordination, scientific communication, and close collaboration with researchers, engineers, and European research infrastructure partners.
We offer collaboration opportunities with leading research institutions and universities in Europe and the US, learning and thriving in a young and ambitious research group
