Your Tasks
Conduct high-level independent research in one or more areas represented at IQOQI Vienna, including but not limited to:
quantum optics and quantum information.
foundations of quantum mechanics.
quantum communication and quantum networks.
theory–experiment interfaces.
quantum aspects of gravity and spacetime physics.
Develop original research ideas and contribute to the scientific profile of the institute.
Publish research results in leading international peer-reviewed journals.
Present results at international conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Assist in the development, analysis, or interpretation of theoretical models or experimental data.
Contribute to the preparation of research proposals and collaborative grant applications.
Provide scientific guidance and mentoring to PhD students and Master’s students.
Support early-stage researchers through discussions, feedback on research, and joint problem solving.
Support the institute’s international visibility through scientific networking.
Promote an open, collaborative, and inclusive research environment.
Your Profile
Completed PhD studies in physics.
Previous research experience and a scientific track record reflecting your level of seniority.
Experience in supervising students and writing project proposals.
