Postdoc position (m/f/d).
Your field of activity
Work in the field of theoretical high-energy particle/astroparticle physics
Use of analytic and numerical methods to explore opportunities for next generation gamma-ray instruments with a focus on constraining dark matter candidates
Develop predictions for multi-wavelength observations
Scientific interpretation of results and preparation of scientific publications
Requirements
PhD in astrophysics / particle physics or related field
Knowledge in particle/astroparticle physics, cosmology, and physics beyond the Standard Model
Experience with modern programming languages (C/Fortran/Python)
Full proficiency in English, both spoken and written
The position is initially offered for 2 years. The salary will be paid according to the collective agreement for civil service employees in Germany (TVöD).
