  • You will utilize and further develop the group’s in-house code Jellyfish using quantum algorithms.
  • You will explore the potential use of quantum annealers.
  • You will engage in a Helmholtz-wide research consortium investigating batteries using quantum technologies.
  • You will present your results at conferences and publish them in scientific journals.

Your Profile

  • In-depth knowledge of quantum computing algorithms
  • Solid background in quantum dynamics
  • Very good programming skills, e.g. in C++
  • Experience in the use of quantum chemistry codes
  • Professional proficiency in English (C1 level)

Please apply with

  • a motivation letter containing a statement on your background knowledge on quantum computing and theoretical chemistry/physics,
  • a scientific CV
  • a scan of your dissertation certificate or a statement of your university on its finalization date
