About the position
Position Description The Theoretical Nuclear and Particle Astrophysics Group (https://mengruwuu.github.io/) at the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, led by Dr. Meng-Ru Wu invites applications for postdoctoral positions. Applicants with diverse interests and backgrounds, including neutrino astrophysics, heavy element nucleosynthesis, astrophysical probes for physics beyond the Standard Model, and the related theoretical astrophysical modeling are welcomed to apply. The initial appointment will be for two years, with possible extensions depending on funding availability and performance. During the contract duration, applications for independent research fellowships from Academia Sinica are possible, which add an individual research budget and may increase the salary for exceptional candidates. Successful candidates are encouraged to collaborate and interact with other research groups in Taiwan or international institutes.
