Postdoctoral Researcher Position, Agentic AI Research Team (Multimodal AI Agent)

We are seeking researchers specializing in multimodal AI (e.g., vision, language, and structured data) and conversational systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of multimodal agents/systems and evaluation frameworks, under the NEDO project “Foundation for Real-world Omni-Native Trustworthy Intelligence and Alignment.”
Key Research Areas:
・ Human-centric AI and responsible design
・ Dialogue modeling and interactive agents
・ Human-robot collaboration
・ Multimodal learning from images, videos, text, and graphs
・ Mitigating hallucination in large language models (LLMs)
・ Natural language understanding and generation
Please note that successful applicants for this position will be required to work exclusively on the NEDO project.

Work content and job description
Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas:
・ Develop intelligent systems capable of interacting with humans through multiple modalities
・ Design frameworks to evaluate safety, trustworthiness, and alignment of AI outputs with human user intentions
・ Investigate and mitigate hallucination, misinformation, or bias
・ Collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers to build agents for real-world applications
・ Contribute to publications in AI/ML/NLP conferences and journals
