About the position
Background of the recruitment and description of the project Our research aims to fully elucidate the role of fibroblastic reticular cells (FRCs), stromal cells in secondary lymphoid organs, in spread of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1), establishment of latent infection, and the maintenance of viral reservoirs. To this end, we are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to investigate interactions between FRCs and HIV-1 latently infected cells using a co-culture system of human CD4+ T cells and FRCs. Work content and job description The postdoctoral scholar is responsible for independent and collaborative development, implementation, and analysis of scientific research in the discipline of virology, immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and biochemistry. Responsibilities include management of all aspects of cell culture, primary cell isolation, virus preparation, virus infection analysis, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, protein expression analysis, in vitro and in vivo experimentation, and vector construction.
