Location: RDM Investigative Medicine, The MRC Translational Immune Discovery Unit (TIDU), Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford Contract Type: Fixed-term for 1 year Hours: Full time About the Role You will work as a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Drakesmith lab in collaboration with the Simmons lab and collaborators in Earth Sciences. Your research will make mechanistic insights into how iron is trafficked, addressing how iron influences immunopathological conditions, and the global health problems of iron deficiency and anaemia. About You You will hold a relevant PhD/DPhil, together with relevant experience in cell culture and molecular biology. You will also possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes.
