About the position
Background of the recruitment and description of the project "Tokushima University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is an interdisciplinary graduate program integrating the research divisions of medicine, dentistry, pharmaceutical sciences, nutrition, and health sciences. The mission of the Graduate School is to serve the needs in public health and welfare through innovative research and comprehensive education in bioscience and medicine. Our department focuses on the fields of Microbiology and Genetic Analysis. Research in these fields includes: 1) Miclobiology, 2) Infectious disease, 3) Prevention of lifestyle diseases and age-related pathologies." Work content and job description (1) Lecuture and instruction about Microbiology, Genetic Analysis and Laboratory Medicine in Japanese (2) Research, Research guidance (3) Conduct of our Department Description Applicant should: 1. Have a Doctoral degree 2. Have an outstanding research record in the fields of microbiology, genetic analysis, and infectious diseases, who possesses the ability to promote advanced research. 3. Capable of teaching multiple subjects in undergraduate education, including Genetic Testing, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Clinical Microbiology, Integrated Medical Laboratory Science, and graduation research, as well as core department courses. 4. Capable of conducting lectures and providing research guidance in graduate education (both Master’s and Doctoral programs). 5. Will actively participate in organizational management and contribute to institutional development; someone who understands that the department operates with a small number of faculty members and can contribute to the growth of the division with a collaborative spirit.
