About the position
Background of the recruitment and description of the project Tokushima University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is an interdisciplinary graduate program integrating under medical biosciences the research divisions of medicine, dentistry, pharmaceutical sciences , nutrition, and health sciences. The mission of the Institute is to serve the needs in public health and welfare through innovative research and comprehensive education in bioscience and medicine. The Department of Oral Preventive Medicine is under the Division of Oral Science Basic Dentistry in Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. The teaching responsibilities of the department include giving lectures and supervising practicums in preventive dentistry and public health for the third year students in the Faculty of Dentistry at Tokushima University. Work content and job description (1) Teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses on oral preventive medicine (2) Teaching and supervising oral preventive medicine practicums (3) Conducting research and providing research guidance to students Official qualification in specific field, etc. 1. Applicants must be capable to promote cutting-edge research in basic oral sciences, and/or in the field of preventive medicine, public health. 4. Applicants must be capable to do practice oral preventive medicine in the dentistry field and to promote the improvement of regional dentistry in cooperation with the medical field. 5. Applicants must be capable to cooperate with other department in education, research and clinical aspects, and to cooperate with the outside clinics for health and welfare and dental care. 6. Applicants must be capable to fulfill administrative responsibilities collaboratively in Department of Oral Preventive Medicine.
