In particular, a research area that contributes to realizing a sustainable future society by incorporating transdisciplinary perspectives (integrating multiple academic disciplines and collaborating with societal implementation). Work content and job description ・The appointee will be expected to conduct research, teach, and undertake academic administrative duties within the Department of Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering. ・The appointee will teach courses in the undergraduate program (Department of Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering) as well as in the master’s and doctoral programs (Global Engineering for Development, Environment and Society), either independently or collaboratively. ・The appointee will participate in activities related to the Global Scientists and Engineers Program (GSEP). ・The appointee will supervise research conducted by undergraduate and graduate students. ・The appointee will be responsible for administrative and operational duties at the university, school, department, and course levels. ・Participate in at least one of the Visionary Initiatives (VI), which engage in interdisciplinary research activities. Include the funding name, project title, research period, total amount, role (principal investigator or co-investigator), and the amount allocated (if not the principal investigator). 4.Summary of past research achievements and future research plan (free format; approximately two A4 pages). 5.Summary of teaching experience and future teaching statement (free format; approximately two A4 pages). 6.Record of social and professional activities (including roles in academic societies) (free format; up to two A4 pages). 7.Names, affiliations, and contact information of referees (two from institutions in the applicant’s country and two from overseas institutions in relevant fields). 8.Up to five major original research papers (PDF).
