About the position

Kitami Institute of Technology (KIT) is the northernmost national university in Japan and is located in Kitami City, the core city of industry and culture in the Okhotsk area in eastern Hokkaido. It is surrounded by a beautiful natural environment with four national parks including Shiretoko, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Applicants should have research or practical achievements and should demonstrate strong motivation to engage in education and research in the above-mentioned field.

Official qualification in specific field, etc.
Non-native speakers of Japanese are expected to have sufficient proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) to carry out administrative duties and provide instruction to students in a Japanese-language academic environment.
