About the position
Background of the recruitment and description of the project Professor or Associate Professor in the field of Nuclear Science and Engineering Work content and job description - The successful candidate will conduct research activities related to the field of nuclear science and engineering (e.g., nuclear reactors, accelerators, nuclear fusion, nuclear fuel cycle, radiation biology). - The successful candidate will engage in educational activities, the administration and operation of the undergraduate program at Department of Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering as well as in the master’s and doctoral programs at the graduate major in Nuclear Engineering. - The successful candidate will provide research supervision for students in the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs. - The successful candidate will participate in activities related to the Global Scientists and Engineers Program (GSEP). - The successful candidates will engage in research activities and operation collaborating with the Laboratory for Zero-carbon Energy, Institute of Integrated Research. - The successful candidate will engage in activities within one of the eight Visionary Initiatives (VIs), which serve as interdisciplinary research hubs.
