Background of the recruitment and description of the project Research area: Fields related to driver psychology and behavior within informatics, including traffic psychology, social psychology, cognitive science, human factors/ergonomics, transportation engineering, human–computer interaction, safety science, artificial intelligence and intelligent informatics, behavioral science, and data science etc. Work content and job description Job Description: ・The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in the research areas listed in the research area. ・His/her affiliation is the ISEE with a primary appointment in the Department of Automotive Science, the Graduate School of Integrated Frontier Sciences. He/she will also teach some courses in the IFS and supervise research of students belonging to the IFS. ・He/she will also teach some courses in the Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering and supervise research of students belonging to the graduate school. ・He/she will also teach some courses in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Engineering, the Informatics Course of the Department of Physics, School of Science, and/or in related schools. Description Qualifications: Applicants must: (1) hold a PhD. (2) be enthusiastic in teaching and research. (3) be able to teach, supervise, and give lectures in English and in Japanese. (4) have sufficient Japanese language skills for the organizational management.
