About the position
The quantum beam photonics laboratory aims to realize a sustainable society by advancing the science of extreme states through the application of optical quantum beams and plasma, covering a wide range of fields including fusion energy, quantum beam science, and the creation of advanced materials. Building on an academic foundation in electrodynamics, plasma physics, and optical quantum beam engineering, this research area integrates cutting-edge quantum beam technology with high-precision diagnostic techniques to deepen our understanding of fusion plasmas and extreme-environment processes, while also developing new devices and measurement technologies capable of operating under such conditions. Building on the research outcomes, education and research aimed at industrial innovation will be conducted, while cultivating the next generation of leaders in quantum beam science on the international stage. The laboratory is seeking an academic staff member who has a flexible attitude and can contribute to developing and harnessing the strength of the laboratory’s research.
The successful applicant will be responsible for not only conducting research but also teaching liberal arts and other subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Inquiries regarding this position are welcome.
