About the position

Job description
The division of robotics, perception, and learning is looking for a research engineer. You will work with the research projects that are ongoing at the division or in the laboratories that the division has. The work focuses on developing and evaluating robotic systems through hands-on experimentation. You will have access to robots, robotic hands, rapid prototyping tools, and research facilities, and will be expected to take an active role in building prototypes, collecting data, analyzing results, and communicating findings.
Qualifications
Requirements
A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence.
Experience with hands-on prototyping and experimental work.
Experience with 3D printing, fabrication, or workshop tools.
Python programming skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a research team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative.·
Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new methods, tools, and technologies.
Ability to clearly document, present, and communicate experimental results.
You must be fluent in English both in writing and orally, as it is required in the daily work.

Preferred qualifications
Experience with mechanical design and CAD tools.
Experience with electronics, sensors, actuators, or laboratory equipment.
Experience designing and conducting scientific experiments.
Experience with electromechanical systems, robotics, automation, or related technologies
Experience with materials testing, soft robotics, or related experimental research areas.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
