FACULTY OPENING: Tenure-Track Call in Robotics

Koç University invites applications from ambitious, outstanding
scientists with a record of research excellence and innovation in Robotics for
tenure-track faculty positions, primarily targeted at the Assistant Professor
level (exceptional candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level may also
be considered). To establish a world-class epicenter for robotics capable of
shaping the next generation of scientific and technological breakthroughs, this
university-wide initiative operates beyond conventional departmental
boundaries, offering appointees a primary academic appointment in an
appropriate home department within a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary
environment. Candidates working across all core, emerging, and cross-cutting
domains of robotics are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a related discipline, ideally
complemented by postdoctoral or industrial R&D experience, and have a track
record of scholarly achievement that matches their career stage. Appointees are
expected to build an independent, externally funded research program in
Robotics, deliver high-quality teaching and mentoring across all levels, foster
interdisciplinary collaborations, and contribute to institutional stewardship.
