innovative secondary teacher preparation program. Housed in a
top-ranked department known for its research-based initial educator
licensing, our program engages teacher candidates through
practice-based field experiences in local classrooms and
community-based educational spaces. As our campus sits on ancestral
Ho-Chunk land—a place known as Teejop since time
immemorial—we respect the inherent sovereignty of the 12 First

integrate and honor these legacies of resistance and resilience as
part of our ongoing commitment to shaping an equitable educational
future.

candidates and certification/degree completion for graduating
cohorts.
- Partnership Building: Develop and maintain sustainable,
collaborative relationships with cooperating teachers and local
school partners.
- Recruitment & Continuous Improvement: Direct
strategic recruiting initiatives to engage, enroll, and support a
diverse applicant pool, and collaborate with coordinators across
other secondary content areas to assess and improve the overall
program and contribute to state and university review
processes.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Works with faculty to identify and develop new methods of
advancing instruction in the discipline
