About the position
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Kanazawa University strives to enhance education and research in pharmacy. To strengthen the research organization promoting the research project "Unmet Medical Needs Research" listed in the pharmaceutical field, we invite applications for one position as a Professor position in the research field of pharmaceutical and biological sciences according to the following guidelines. Work content and job description (1) Education Lectures of general education courses of bachelor's programs. Lectures, seminars, practical training in pharmaceutical sciences, and graduation research at School of Pharmacy and School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Specialized education and research guidance for students at Graduate School of Medical Sciences. You may be required to teach classes in English. (2) Research Cutting-edge biological research in contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences Description Qualification requirements ・Applicants must have a doctoral degree. ・Applicants should have notable research achievements and extensive experience in the research fields of biological sciences including molecular biology, infectious microbiology, cell engineering, and systems biology. ・Applicants should be willing to actively engage in research and educational activities in cooperation with faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy. ・Applicant should be passionate about teaching at the undergraduate and graduate (master’s and doctoral) levels. ※Under Article 8 of the Equal Employment Opportunity Law (Special Provisions of Measures Pertaining to Women Workers), in order to actively improve our considerably low percentage of women researchers, applicants are limited to female researchers.
