Background of the recruitment and description of the project Signal processing (including image analysis and optimization) Work content and job description - The successful candidate will carry out research in the above area of specialization. - The successful candidate will assist in providing research supervision to undergraduate and graduate students (master’s and doctoral) in the laboratory, and in its operation, in both Japanese and English. - The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of lectures, exercises, and laboratory courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. - The successful candidate will cooperate in administrative duties necessary for the operation of the university. - The successful candidate will engage in activities within one of the eight Visionary Initiatives (VIs), which serve as interdisciplinary research hubs. - For an overview of the VIs, please refer to the following: https://www.isct.ac.jp/en/017/research/visionary-initiatives Description 1. Applicants must have a Ph. D degree or be expected to obtain the degree by the start of the employment in the above-mentioned specialized field. 2. Applicants should have willingness to teach and research in the above-mentioned specialized field and actively explore new themes. 3. Applicants should have an ability to give assistance in Japanese and English at lectures, seminars and experiments in subjects related at School of Computing and the University as well as cooperation in administrative work at the University.
