Position Description The Management and Organizations Department at the Boston University Questrom School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in micro Organizational Behavior. This position will begin on July 1, 2027, for the Fall semester at Boston University. Requirements and Qualifications Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Management or a related field by the start date of the position. We are interested in scholars whose research shows rigor and relevance, informing pressing management challenges in domains such as leadership, technical change/the future of work, managing human capital, cooperation, conflict, diversity, power and influence. Successful candidates will have published in, have papers forthcoming in, or have works in progress meeting the standards of top tier peer-reviewed journals. Ideal candidates’ research will have synergy with Questrom Institutes including: the Institute for Leadership and Work, the Susilo Institute for Ethics in a Global Economy, or the Mehrotra Institute for Business, Markets & Society and show the potential to integrate their scholarship to inform the MO curriculum. Generally, we would like to hire someone who will contribute to our community of teachers and researchers through excellence in innovative scholarship, engaged teaching, and participation in the intellectual life of the University. Research support, teaching load, and benefits are competitive. The salary range is $213,588 - $229,398.
