About the position
Background of the recruitment and description of the project The Laboratory of Advanced Science and Technology for Industry (LASTI) is expected to be a center of excellence in the research field of photon science and related technologies. Through collaborations with industries, the laboratory prepares a base of advanced engineering in the local area and takes the initiative in creating new industrial technologies. In order to achieve this purpose, we constructed a foremost synchrotron light facility “NewSUBARU”. Work content and job description Candidates who has experiences of (or who is willing to newly acquire the techniques of) designing and constructing soft X-ray beamlines and experimental stations at the synchrotron radiation facility, NewSUBARU. Additionally, candidates should be able to promote academic and industrial research in collaboration with external researchers, by utilizing these experimental devices. Although experience in the synchrotron radiation field is not necessarily required, we seek individuals who are motivated to engage in new research and technological development. Courses in the Faculty of Engineering and the Graduate School of Engineering, particularly in the field of Synchrotron Radiation Engineering.
