In addition, there is a possibility that the successful candidate will be assigned courses in the Graduate School of Global Interdisciplinary Science & Innovation, which is currently under application for establishment in AY 2027.) A master’s degree or equivalent academic achievement. 2. Ability to engage proactively in education and research based on the mission of the Faculty of Global Interdisciplinary Science & Innovation, with a global perspective and willingness to collaborate across disciplines; strong communication skills necessary for university duties. 3. Ability to teach the courses listed above. 4. Significant experience teaching communicative English classes (classes in which students actively develop communicative skills, primarily speaking). 5. Ability not only to manage their own class, but to visualize an entire program and curriculum. 6. A willingness to work with other teachers in developing and managing the curriculum and developing teaching materials. 7. A willingness to do committee work and participate in faculty meetings. 8. Specialization in English Education, English Linguistics, Literature in English, Cross-Cultural Understanding, or related fields. 9. Be a native speaker of English or have equivalent proficiency 10. For applicants whose native language is not Japanese, sufficient Japanese proficiency to perform administrative duties.
