About the position
The Energy and Resources Group (ERG) at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses in the areas of energy and resources from a wide variety of disciplines, should an opening arise. ERG has a long and distinguished history of interdisciplinary research and teaching for a sustainable environment and an equitable society.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
General Duties
: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications
(required at time of application)
Advanced degree or enrolled in an advanced degree program at the time of application
Additional qualifications
(required at time of start)
Advanced degree is required by the start date of the job
Preferred qualifications
Ph.D., or equivalent international degree
College-level teaching experience is preferred
Ability to support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy
