Position Description
The Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for one or two Leinweber Physics Postdoctoral Fellowships to begin in Fall 2027. These are distinguished fellowship positions, separate from regular postdoctoral appointments in our institute.
Applications are invited in all areas of theoretical physics, including cosmology, quantum field theory, condensed matter physics, quantum gravity, quantum information theory, particle physics, and string theory. The fellowship is awarded for a term of three years.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) in theoretical physics (or a closely related field) by the start date of the appointment.
