Description
The School of Analytics, Finance, and Economics at Southern
Illinois University Carbondale invites applications from qualified candidates to teach BA 529D: Management Analytics during Summer
2027. This fully online, eight-week course will be offered from
June 7 through July 30, 2027. The position is a term, non-tenure-track appointment with a 25% full-time equivalent (FTE) workload for Summer 2027. No research or service responsibilities are required.
This position is represented by SIU Carbondale Non-Tenure Track

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
Examples of Duties
Develop and teach a high-quality online course. Specifics include:
make available course content including lecture notes, readings, and videos; effectively communicate with students, develop assessments such as homework and exams; grade these assessments;
and complete course paperwork commensurate with that of an instructor.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a graduate degree in a field within Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience at the collegiate level, previous online teaching experience, and previous experience teaching a management or business analytics course.
