Work content and job description The candidate will be responsible for education and research in the field of contents art (game, anime, manga, media art, moving image）, design, architecture, or cultural heritage, etc., as well as administrative duties at the University of Tsukuba, including intra-university management. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for promoting Japanese Art and Design, enhancing international exchange, and recruiting international students. Courses in the Field of Specialization[contents art (game, anime, manga, media art, moving image）, design, architecture, or cultural heritage, etc.], at the Doctoral and Master's Program in Art, Design, or Heritage Studies. Description 1) Doctoral Degree or Ph.D., or the candidate scheduled to acquire it by the start of Employment. 2) Outstanding experience and ability in ‘Content of work’, listed above. 3) Persons with Japanese proficiency. 4) Outstanding achievement in the field of contents art (game, anime, manga, media art, moving image）, design, architecture, or cultural heritage, etc.. (Including production of artworks.) 5) Individuals capable of conducting research and educational activities with an international and interdisciplinary perspective. 6) Individuals capable of carrying out duties related to promoting Japanese art and design, enhancing international exchange, and recruiting international students. Successful candidates with a practical track record in these areas or with a high level of motivation.
